Online License Sales

The Blackfeet Fish and Wildlife Department has added the ability to purchase licenses online for your convenience.  Follow this link for online license purchasing.

Tribal Member & Descendants Hunting:

To expedite the process, please complete prior year big game harvest reports online.  These must be completed before purchasing hunting licenses. 

You MUST pick up your kill tags at the Blackfeet Fish and Wildlife Office prior to hunting. You will be fined if you do not have your kill tags on you while hunting.

Non-Tribal Member Fishing:  2025 Fishing Licenses go on sale beginning March 22, 2025. 

Fishing licenses are valid from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026

Non-Tribal Member Big Game Hunting:

The Shiras Moose and Mule Deer are available via auction or lottery.  Elk, White tailed Deer, Black Bear, Mountain Lion, Antelope, Gray Wolf, and Mountain Goat tags are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, please contact us at our office at (406) 338-7207 or follow this link for online license purchasing.

Gopher and Ground Squirrel Hunting:  2025 Season is open for permit sales.  Season opens March 1, 2025 and closes August 31, 2025.

Can be purchased online.
